RISING GIANT IN AUTOMOTIVE INDUSTRY SEEKS ACCOUNT MANAGER/FIELD TECHNICIAN

 

We’re a successful fast growing company based in Louisville, Kentucky. We’re growing rapidly, undergoing a national expansion. In the past five years, we’ve grown from 60 employees to over 300. We’ve averaged 50% revenue growth each year over the past 6 years. We’re looking for an experienced Account Manager/Field Technician to help play an important part in our growth.

Hours of Operation: 
Monday-Friday 8:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m.

Responsibilities

Field Technicians/Account Managers are the faces of the organization. Using company provided vehicles, Field Technicians/ Account Managers ensure proper execution of the role results in
satisfied customers, leading to long-term business relationships that aid in anchoring the
financial stability of the company.

 

Duties Critical to your success: 

  • Develop and maintain a weekly sales route by calling on dealerships and fleets 
  • Maintain accurate inventory counts/log all stops 
  • Proper invoicing and work with client for approval
  • Maintenance, care, and cleaning of company equipment and vehicle
  • Maintain business relationships to increase our clients’ profits
  • Drive our company van to dealerships and fleet operations in your metro area
  • Perform locksmith and programming of a technology oriented car remote
  • Gain knowledge of our OEM products
  • Manage inventory and perform audits

 

Qualifications

Abilities Critical to Success

  • Capable. Required to learn existing and new technologies related to key programming
  • Physically fit. Able to lift boxes up to 25 pounds and work extended periods of time outdoors
  • Communicator. Relays information to manager that allow Account Manager to perform role to the best of their ability

 

Job specifications, standards and requirement

  • Valid driver’s license
  • Excellent driving record (driving abstract required)
  • High School degree or equivalent
  • Strong automotive technical skills
  • Strong computer/MicroSoft  skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Preferred 1 - 2 years commission based sales experience
  • Professional demeanor and appearance
  • Safe place to park a company van
  • Ability to pass background check and credit review

Compensation:

 

The base salary is $32,000 CAD, plus a generous compensation plan. The average salary is $77,000 USD ($101,000 CAD), with the top 30% earning between $80,000 USD ($104,000 CAD) and $85,000 USD ($110,000 CAD).
