RISING GIANT IN AUTOMOTIVE INDUSTRY SEEKS DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS

 

We’re a successful fast growing company based in Louisville, Kentucky. We’re growing rapidly, undergoing a national expansion. In the past five years, we’ve grown from 60 employees to over 300. We’ve averaged 50% revenue growth each year over the past 6 years. We’re looking for an experienced Director of Operations to help play an important part in our growth. You’ll play a key role in designing and implementing plans when expanding a company. You'll experience the satisfying feeling of having your ideas immediately put into action -- no waiting for a committee or bureaucracy to approve them first.

Responsibilities

Duties Critical to Success:

  • Plan, direct, and coordinate the operations of worldwide Account Managers
  • Review financial statements, sales or activity reports, or other performance data to measure productivity and goal achievement
  • Identify areas needing cost reduction and program improvement
  • Formulating policies, managing all daily operations of CKE
  • Direct and coordinate activities of the Operations department concerned with the pricing, sales, or distribution of products
  • Management the day to day operations and drive initiatives in the management team and organizationally that contribute to long-term operational excellence
  • Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures for training of Operation Managers and Account Managers
  • Direct and oversee inventory control
  • Ability to oversee all levels of project management
  • Observable management and leadership skills
  • Develop and manage Account Manager Code of Conduct standards

Qualifications

Job Standards and Requirements:

  • Master’s Degree in Business or a related field
  • 10 years of operational management experience, experience on a national level required
  • Excellent computer skills (must be able to touch type) and proficient in excel, word
  • Superior communication skills both verbal and written
  • Demonstrated leadership and vision in managing groups and major projects or initiatives
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative management style
  • A demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards
  • Excels at operating in a fast pace, community environment
  • Excellent people manager, open to direction
  • Ability to hire, develop and retain staff
  • Has an unwavering commitment to get the job done--isn’t easily discouraged
  • Ability to challenge and debate issues of importance to the organization
  • Ability to look at situations from several points of view
  • Persuasive with details and facts
  • Delegates responsibilities effectively

Compensation:  

Pay for this position will range from $125,000 to $140,000. Salary is commensurate with experience. Pay raises are typically dramatically higher than the national average for those who apply themselves, and are promoted as they grow with the company.
